Security

  • Guarding the Wall
    • Must be guarded 24hrs a day, by a minimum of 2 guards.
    • Shifts are 4 hours in length and must be staffed from 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 through Tuesday, September 18, 2018
    • Volunteers wishing to sign up for guarding the wall may contact the Watch Captain: David Saulter at (814) 274-9763

Assisting Visitors

  • Locating names on wall by computer look-up
  • Helping disabled visitors to and from the wall
  • Tracing of names on the wall
  • Directing people to parking area or to wall entrance

Site Preparations

  • Building base for wall
  • Unloading / Set up of wall panels
  • Tear Down / Loading of wall panels

Logistics

  • Water, food and coffee for volunteers
    • Volunteers may contact also Shinglehouse American Legion         Post 530 at (814) 203-4335 to sign up​
  • Medical support on site
    • Medical Support Volunteers may contact Michele Mather  at (814) 274-8137 to sign up​
  • Wheel chairs and other medical assistance devices
